Finally here! after 9 months of designing and testing and testing and testing to get the exact feel we feel is needed for 1/28 scale. In 2024 drivers achieved Multiple national and regional wins and even a national title was won using the MWX dif.

MWX Performance has  built the ultimate 1/28 dif! This differential has the benefits of both the gear dif and the ball dif but also have a reliable and consistant  slip factor when needed. it will slip and rotate the car at the same time. In modified  classes this is beneficial on exit when  trying to put the power down. For stock racing since power setups are aggresive, running it will minimal slip really smooths out corner entry gaining you those precious tenths!

All 7075 aluminum parts are anodized black

Because the unique design, steering characteristics are much different than the standard ball or gear unit. In fact its almost exactly split between the two. Offers the excellent onto straight and sweeper entry of the gear dif but at the same time gives you the cornering prowess of the ball dif making it useful to both momentum drivers, point and shoot drivers and anything in between.

The MWX differential is built dry, you do not use ANY type of lubrication on the plates or the pins. This allows for months without a rebuild, virtually no maintenence besides a drop of oil on the outside bearing every once in a while. You will find that after time you actually loosen the dif up for proper action instead of tightening it up like a ball dif as it breaks in. settings are a "driver feel" but you never run it locked down.
